trending // Tee-Pee Living.

Now I know this might make me the biggest interior design nerd, but I'm seriously obsessed with the current trend of having a tee-pee in the home. Of course, tepees have been around well before the thoughts of the modern living, however recently the influx of incorporating this native dwelling into the common home has left me craving to jump on board the tee-pee band wagon. Whether it is for your kids to play in, your pet to sleep in, or mobile enough to picnic under, the idea of having a little camp out area is always fun. 

So don't be surprised if a DIY post comes along (soonish) of my take on this tee-pee trend for my little man, cat. But while you wait, here are some fun ways others have incorporated this playful trend into their homes.

Homepolish x BoConcept

Last week I got the awesome opportunity to adventure over to the BoConcept's Chelsea Flagship store for the launch of The Homepolish Studio at BoConcept New York event. The space, designed by Homepolish cofounder Noa and Homepolish designer Andrea, was absolutely stunning. The concept behind the space, being an approachable 1 bedroom, is a beautiful mix between boho chic and mid-century modern with a classic color palette of summer whites & blues. The bold bohemian textiles gave the space that unique interior design stamp that has become synonymous with the Homepolish brand. And finally, the fun & extremely user friendly DIY ideas (that could be re-purposed in any budget friendly household) really topped the space off, turning it from just a furniture installation to an accessible redefined space.

Although I wasn't able to stay long, it was so fun getting to meet a lot of the Homepolish family and the designers who make up the New York leg of the brand. Not to mention the space itself left me inspired and anxious to get started on my first Homepolish project.

With Memorial day weekend starting tomorrow (or today if you were lucky enough to take off), I thought I would share some of my favorite outdoor living spaces. So while your BBQing & sipping on those cocktails, you can sit back and sift through these outside inspiration. 

Also, don't forget this weekend is one of the best times to buy furniture and decor online! Lulu & Georgia, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, and a lot of other major furniture retailers are having great sales all this weekend.
