do nothing.
Happy Monday loves
Sometimes it's just nice to do absolutely nothing on the weekends. And besides wandering around the upper east side (still on the hunt for my perfect NYC apartment) for an afternoon, and a girls brunch on Sunday, that's exactly what I did - nothing. It was great.
I know this might be me being slightly anti-social, but during the summer it feels like there is always something to do. Going down the shore, bar crawls, BBQs. So sometimes just knowing that you have nothing planned for a weekend can be perfectly relaxing. And that's just what my weekend was, perfectly relaxing do nothing weekend. I loved it
***One thing I did do this weekend was add a new page to CMQ- Ask a Designer. Now you can ask me any and all design questions that come up. Whether it's something small like paint color suggestions, or something big like a DIY idea to match your favorite designer piece, I'm here to help! Check it out now and let me know what you think! I can't wait to help

out of the box box
Sometimes outer appearances aren't all they're cracked up to be. I saw this home - originally posted on homeadore.com - and wasn't all that impressed by the uber modern abode, but then I saw the inside. Beautifully finished with a minimal, rustic style, this home has that perfect blend of homeyness with a unique twist. And can we please discuss how that it's living floor is HUGE?! Jealous.
Not what you'd expect when you see the tiny wooden box surrounded by shrubs and concrete on an Austin, Texas cliff.
