Your home shows a lot about your personal style. Sure what you choose to wear out in public might says how your feeling on that particular day. But how you choose to style your home shows far more about yourself. 

& that's why I love when I see my favorites (from the fashion world) show off details from their homes. These lovely ladies focus their lives on showing off their personal style, but rarely give us a glimpse inside their private walls. And I'm not going to lie, for some of these women, it was a bit hard to find shots of their spaces (cough - DylanLex - cough). But although their few & far between on the instagram scroll, these are my favorite home details from some of my favorite bloggers.

shop to know // Eskayel

I love sharing my favorite shops with all of you (my favorite people) and I just stumbled upon this one and I couldn't NOT share. Eskayel. Okay so I might not know how exactly to pronounce this Brooklyn brand but I do know that I'm OBSESSED with their products and have been (without even knowing it) for years now. 

My love obsession started with their collaboration with abc Carpet & Home. Specifically this dream worthy sofa.

Then, while searching for new area rug ideas for a client I stumbled upon the Eskayel site and basically needed everything. The products that Eskayel designs have such a unique feel of movement behind them. Each textile- whether it's on a sofa, chair, pillow or rug- feels as though a great amount of care and time went into the pattern. I love that. The unique, muted and elegant qualities are just why Eskayel is a store you need to know.

a small statement.

I'm currently in search of the perfect NYC apartment for me and the boyfriend to occupy. To be honest though, I tend to get side tracked and trail off into how I'd design our dream apartment more than actually searching for the apartment itself. And during a complete side tracked trail I landed on this gorgeous apartment courtesy of Nicety. I don't quite know much about this apartment- since the blog it was posted on is in Russian and they themselves didn't write much- but I do know it's stunning. 

Small, only about 765 square feet, but the owners have definitely maximized their space. With extremely sleek bones and simple rustic furniture, this home feels like a cozy, uncluttered oasis from the city below. Now if only I could find a place this chic in NYC. Wish me luck!
