Homepolish x Nylon Magazine

October 10, 2014

They say if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. I love what I do and I love the fact that I am part of such an incredible company. I started with the interior design company, Homepolish, a few months ago, and have since had amazing clients. So far, I haven't had the chance to fully finish a project and get it to the pin-worthy pages of the Homepolish Magazine. I am still striving for that day that I will click onto the Homepolish site and see my work strewn across their homepage- I will probably die and go to heaven at that point. But, until then I absolutely love seeing the work that other designers are producing for the brand.

When I saw that Homepolish was giving Nylon Magazine's digital offices a makeover I nearly fell out of my chair with excitement. Designed by Shelly Sparks and Andrea Perez, this modern-with-an-edge design gives just right amount of spunk to this trend setting office space. Insanely well-executed graffiti wall and powerful pops of pink make this office modern, cool, trendy, and fun, which perfectly reflects the Nylon brand. Such an amazing job girls! 10 out of 5 stars. Love

Last year I tried to write this post and so much came up that it just never got published (I know, I'm awful). So this year I was on the mission to make sure that no matter what, this post was published and I would help bring awareness to the pink cause.

If you didn't know, October is Breast Cancer awareness month and pink is everywhere. Like any type of illness, donating to this cause is so important. We are donating for our mothers, sisters, grandmothers, even husbands and fathers that are affected by this horrible illness. The only way we can end this battle is to fight it.

I chose to feature a few of awesome products that are giving back this month and, of course, some fun pink filled interiors to inspire. All the merchandise below (with their links attached) give back in some way. My favorite though, has to be the Bobbi Brown Lip gloss set. She has always been my favorite makeup-master to follow, and these limited addition colors are beyond amazing. So buy, donate, and support.
