Dalo
Working at PMA has its perks for many reasons, but one of my favorites is the exposure to different artists. Various weavers, sculptures, furniture designers, painters, photographers, the list is honestly endless. So I figured, I’d share some of my favorites.
And we’re going to start with the sculpture duo Dalo.
Created by Daniel Derock and Loic de Bailliencourt, this French based ceramic team creates pieces with a playful aesthetic topped with incredible glazes. I’ve had the chance to place Dalo vases, turned into light fixtures, on bedside tables and ceramic topped tables onto a yacht. But my favorite Dalo work is in an upcoming project. One that I will actually be able to share once it’s finished. Stay tuned for the follow up to this post, but for now enjoy some of my favorite pieces from their collection.

Quarantine Living
Hello CMQ fam,
I know, it’s been a while (a serious while in fact) since I’ve written. My last post was over a year ago. Weird considering when this started the blog it was a weekly activity for me. Something that I actually looked forward to and loved to do. But as many of you know, life has really gotten in the way of this blog for me. Leaving it to collect internet cobwebs. But as all of you know, we are currently in week three of quarantine in NYC. Leaving me with ample time to brush those cobwebs off and get this sight going again. So let’s see how this goes.
Stay healthy and safe wherever you are out there
