apartment pieces // homepolish holidays

Yesterday a piece of my apartment was featured on the Homepolish instagram and I nearly died from excitement :)

They asked their designers to show how they decorated their homes for the holidays and- to no surprise- the other designers came up with amazing ideas. So when scrolling through my instagram feed yesterday, and I saw my own apartment I was SO surprised/ beyond excited (it took effort not to squeal, but i think my cube neighbors would've thought I was crazy, so I refrained)!

event designer's perfect bedroom

To be honest, I just really love this bedroom that Domaine featured this past Friday. With the holidays in full swing, I feel like every site I turn to is themed out with Christmas decorations, Holiday DIYs or gift guides. Not that I don't love to get great ideas for this festive season, but it was nice to just look at a beautifully, well designed space again. 

Designed by the home dweller herself, this gorgeous space encompasses the perfect balance of eclectic feminine chic. I love the subtle hint of bohemian influences and how she adds such incredible personal touches "...inspired by her global travels".

Domaine is one of my favorite places to see beautiful spaces, and this one is definitely one of my favorites that they've featured thus far. Check out some of the pictures below & more on domainehome.com. Enjoy!

festival of lights

Good Morning my favorite people (I started this post at 9AM)

Happy Monday! I am in a surprisingly good mood today. Not quite sure why, but definitely not going to fight it. 

So I've decided today that I need to get myself in check. The year is coming to the end, and with that are, of course,  resolutions. And my biggest resolution is to get myself back on the right track. Don't get me wrong, I'm not down a particularly bad track per say. I don't do drugs, I work two jobs, and I spend as much time as I can having fun with my friends, family and boyfriend. However, there are definitely some bad habits (procrastination being the number 1) that I need to work on breaking. So since the week has started off on the right foot, I'm going to start this years resolutions a little early. Wish me luck!
