staying warm
Okay, I don't know where you're reading this from, but here in Jersey it is absolutely freezing outside! 28 degrees to be exact, and all I want to be doing is cuddling on my couch and staying warm with cat on this frigid Monday. But alas, I'm in my cubicle typing and designing my little heart out.
I'm actually really excited for this week though. Things that have been in the works for a while will finally be completed and I've already had a LOT of coffee. Who isn't excited with an ample amount of caffeine running through their veins? So with a great weekend behind me, and an awesome week ahead of me, I am totally ready to get this Monday rolling. gift guide
I don't mean to brag or anything, but I am an awesome gift getter. Like Leslie Knope, it brings me great joy finding those little things that I know will make my friends and family happy. Yes, of course I have my weaknesses (aka shopping for my two brothers), however for the most part, I am great at getting other people gifts they'll love. My true holiday flaw though is telling others what I would like. 10 months out of the year I find countless things that I would love to have, but when it comes November (my birthday) and the holiday season in December, my mind draws a serious blank. And to make matters worse, I am awful and hiding my feelings. Like Rachel from Friends, returning for store credit is my go-to move.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm not the only one facing this present wishlist problem. So as the holiday season rolls around, and gift guides sweep the web, I decided to turn the tables.
